My bedtime man

I’m really looking forward to Bright Eyes’ new album ‘The People’s Key’ that will be released on 15th February. What an utterly perfect Valentine’s Day gift! Also, I cannot wait for their show on 23rd June at Royal Albert Hall. I’ve been longing to see Conor live for many years now.

Conor Oberst writes melodious tales covering the full spectrum of emotional states. Every song is a story and since I frequently listen to his voice in bed before I fall asleep, I call him my bedtime man. He seems to come from a different time, a different world. His ‘Letting Off the Happiness’ is one of my all-time favourite records.

Now I’m listening to ‘Shell Games’ from the new album over and over again, sipping tea and trying to comprehend with the fact that this is actually happening.
