New toy camera and an old self-portrait

Instant cameras are brilliant. I treated myself to an Instax Mini 25 (Cheki 25 in Japanese) from Fujifilm with the Birthday money my dear dad sent me. Isn’t it lovely? At first I wasn’t sure about the credit card sized photos, since I’m used to Polaroid, but they’re absolutely adorable. I got 3 packs of film straight away because this little darling is going to come in very handy when my mum and my best friend are here in 11 days! I can’t believe that it’s been 15 months since I last saw them. I’ve planned loads of fun stuff for us to do – including art viewing, vintage shopping, crafting, pub visiting, cooking, afternoon teaing, and more. I’m so excited!I found this grainy old photo of me on my laptop. Yes, I used to look like Barbie. It’s taken about 3 years ago, before I dyed my hair pink and moved to London. Blimey, it feels like a decade ago! I was a completely different person back then. A lot has happened in the last 3 years. I’ve evolved so much since then that it actually feels like it’s a photo of someone else. How very odd.
