Vintage fabric covered camera strap tutorial

I didn’t like the look of the camera strap that came with my camera so naturally I decided to alter it. The fabric I used was left over from my noticeboard tutorial. This is a very easy and quick project.

Materials:
Camera strap
Vintage fabric
Fabric scissors
Pins
Thread
Sewing machine
1. Cut a piece of fabric that’s twice the width of the camera strap plus a small seam allowance. Iron it if needed.2. Wrap the fabric around the strap, tuck the seam allowance in, and pin it in place.3. Sew all the way along the edge of the fabric using a straight stitch. Done.
