A Brighton day trip

brighton 2brighton photo boothbrighton pier 2brighton pierbrighton the royal pavilionLast Friday my mum, my best friend and I took the train to the seaside. Somehow I had managed to book train tickets for the sunniest day in living memory. My best friend and I got really badly sunburnt strolling along the pier eating 99s. I wore one of my favourite summer dresses, the Wavepool Hello Dress from Modcloth, which resulted in a big v-shaped sunburn on my back. I bought Unknown Pleasures: Inside Joy Division by Peter Hook and we drank cider in the sun. We went to an all-you-can-eat salad buffet and in the early evening we decided to wander around the Royal Pavilion before catching a train back to London. Brighton is a lovely little place. I particularly like all the vintage shops and tea rooms. I’ll definitely go there again soon.

  1. I’ve never been to Brighton, but it looks like such a lovely place! I adore that photo of the beach with the ferris wheel :) xx
