Currently creating: Granny stripe blanket

There’s something very comforting about the granny stitch. I love the simplicity of it and being able to crochet without really having to concentrate.I’m using a 4mm crochet hook and Stylecraft Special DK yarn in citron, sunshine, aspen and sherbert.

P.S. Yesterday I added a few blog buttons in various sizes here if you fancy grabbing one for your blog.

  1. I just started this project as well! Except I’m doing it with a 5 and with black, pumpkin and white.

  2. I’m definitely going to pinch a button, I’m in much admiration of your colour choices for your blanket it reminds me of summer and beaches. I’m also a massive fan of the granny stitch so simple but effective and it grows quick! :) x

  3. I love this, I’m not a new crocheter but im not the best. Would you be able to send me the pattern for this please (:

  4. That’s really nice – it would make a lovely beach bag too!
